Michael Adamek – Personal Injury Lawyer

Professional Overview

With seven years of experience practicing personal injury law in Ontario, I focus on helping clients navigate some of the most difficult moments in their lives. My core areas of practice include motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, bicycle accidents, long-term disability claims, property damage and fire loss claims, brain injury claims, and pedestrian accidents — including witnesses to traumatic accidents.

I believe in very hands-on involvement with my clients’ recovery process. That means staying in close contact, asking for regular updates on day-to-day life, and building a deep understanding of how an accident has impacted every facet of my client’s world — their work life, personal life, and social life — so I can develop a legal strategy that truly captures their entitlement to compensation.

Languages: English, with some French and Polish.

My Approach

I understand that no two cases are identical in the personal injury context. Properly valuing someone’s claim means understanding their character, personality, ambitions, and passions — because only then can you truly appreciate how an accident has disrupted their day-to-day life. While I handle personal injury claims daily, the vast majority of my clients are navigating this process for the first time — and hopefully the last time — in their lives. I treat every case with the same importance I would if it were my own family seeking help.

Outside the Office

An avid sports fan with a passion for hockey, football, basketball, martial arts, and golf — and an interest in each that far exceeds my actual abilities in those activities.

What Shaped My Career

A professor in my second year of law school helped me reframe my thinking. Instead of fixating on arbitrary career goals, I began focusing on what I wanted my everyday environment to look like — and that insight guided me toward the kind of lawyer and the kind of practice I wanted to build.
