Melanie McNaughton

Melanie McNaughton is a Law Clerk at Badre Law PC, bringing nearly three decades of legal experience to our personal injury practice. A graduate of the Law Clerk Program at Algonquin College with honours (1996), Melanie has worked across several areas of law, including litigation, real estate, and wills and estates.
After returning to Ottawa in 2011 following several years in Alberta, Melanie worked in the insurance defence litigation department of a major Ottawa law firm.
This experience gives her a unique insight into how insurers operate and what adjusters require to process claims efficiently. She uses this knowledge to help keep cases moving and to advocate for clients throughout the claims process.
Melanie is known for her strong interpersonal skills and her compassionate, client-centred approach. She ensures clear communication at every stage of the file and acts as a reliable liaison between clients, adjusters, legal professionals, and the broader team supporting each claim.
